Receiving Coordinator

The ideal candidate for this position possesses good organizational skills, will have a positive attitude, enjoy working alone and as part of a team, and is motivated to get the job done in a fast paced environment while maintaining a safe work environment. This individual will work closely with the Assembly Manager, Assembly Leads, Project Management, and the Shipping and Receiving Clerk to coordinate outgoing shipments of finished goods. When the work load is light in the Shipping Department the Skidding Lead will be capable and willing to work with the Assembly Manager and Assembly Leads on a variety of tasks where ever needed to help keep the entire team moving forward, including possible internal construction projects.Daily activities will involve but are not limited to:
– Determining break points for the teardown of equipment
– Understanding weight distribution of equipment for proper and safe rigging
– Safely rigging equipment using overhead cranes, fork trucks and boom trucks
– Building wood skids and crates to fit equipment and outbound trucks
– Properly securing equipment on skids or crates
– Maintaining inventory of wood, hardware, tools and other goods required for shipping
– Loading and Unloading outgoing as well as incoming shipments.
– Assisting Shipping and Receiving Clerk with unloading paint carts, identifying and distributing parts to proper job carts or personnel, and other tasks as needed
– Working with Assembly Manager and Assembly Leads on a variety of assembly tasks as needed

Basic Requirements:
– Strong rough carpentry skills and proven ability to safely operate wood saws, nail guns, screw guns, impact guns and other tools
– Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to assemble and disassemble machinery using hand tools
